Boyfriend turned 28 (though is said 82 on his cake) yesterday. Overall I think he was pretty content; Friday I gave him an Xbox, this weekend it puked fresh powder for the riding, and last night I made this recipe for
Black Pepper Crusted Filet Mignon with Toasted Goat Cheese and Twice Cooked Red Chili Sauce (best steak I've ever had... I couldn't find the exact chilis they asked for at Safeway so I replaced with a combo of New Mexican chili powder, regular chili powder and a bit of cumin, and it turned out really well... the chili sauce is a perfect spicy-sweet combo goes perfectly, oddly, with the goat cheese... we cooked the filets just above rare), with a side of an ultimate twice baked potato compliments of Meaghan, and a finale of peanut butter chocolate ice cream cake.
